Thank you for shopping at MINIMAL USA. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our premium lighting, furniture, and smart home products. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

✅ Items eligible for return:

  • Non-custom, non-clearance items in unused, undamaged condition

  • Returned in original packaging with all components (manuals, accessories, etc.)

❌ Items NOT eligible for return:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order products

  • Installed or assembled items

  • Products returned without original packaging or missing parts

  • Clearance, final sale, or discounted items marked "non-returnable"

  • Damaged items due to misuse, neglect, or improper installation


2. How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please email us at returns@minimalec.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for the return

  • Photo evidence (if item is damaged or defective)

We will review your request and, if approved, provide instructions and a return shipping label if applicable.


3. Return Shipping

  • Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or shipped in error.

  • Original Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Return Method: Items must be returned using a trackable shipping method.


4. Refunds

  • Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection within 5 business days.

  • Approved refunds will be processed via your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • For late or missing refunds, please first check with your bank or credit card provider.


5. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need an exchange, contact us at returns@minimalec.com with supporting photos. We’ll handle your case promptly.


6. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your product arrives damaged or you received the wrong item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Include clear photos of the item and packaging.

  • We will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit depending on the case.


7. Restocking Fees

Some large items (e.g. furniture or lighting systems) may incur a 15% restocking fee. This will be disclosed during the return process, if applicable.


8. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement unless the item has already entered processing or production. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.


9. Custom Orders Policy

Custom or made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable. This includes:

  • Lighting layouts tailored to your project

  • Products with custom finishes, fabrics, or dimensions

  • Smart integration pre-configured for your space

We encourage reviewing product details and confirming measurements before placing custom orders. Our team is available to assist you prior to purchase.
